Critics have praised XÏA Hanxiao Wang for her "vocal sparkle and lively stage personality," and she has established herself as a professional opera singer around the world. Currently, she is based in Germany.
Hanxiao has taken on a variety of operatic roles, including Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel, Despina in Così fan tutte, Agnès Sorel in The Maid of Orleans, Suor Genovieffa in Suor Angelica, and Belinda in Dido and Aeneas. Her other roles include Adina in L'Elisir d'Amore, Manon in Manon, Gilda in Rigoletto, Adele in Die Fledermaus, Giulietta in I Capuleti e I Montecchi, Ilia in Idomeneo, Oscar in Un Ballo in Maschera, Norina in Don Pasquale, Frasquita from Carmen, and Sophie from Werther.
As a concert soloist, Ms. Wang made her debut at Kimmel Center Verizon Hall in Philadelphia, performing Michael Tippett's masterpiece A Child of Our Time. She has also sung Dixit Dominus by G.F. Handel and Great Mass in C Minor by W.A. Mozart. In addition, she has actively performed contemporary works, including Donnacha Dennehy's song cycle That the Night Come with Temple Contemporary Ensemble and the world premiere of the work Maximum Capacity with ENAensamble.
Ms. Wang has participated in many international competitions, including the Tenor Viñas Contest, Ada Sari International Vocal Artistry Competition, and Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition. During her professional study diploma at Mannes School of Music, she was awarded the President Scholarship and studied under the legendary soprano Diana Soviero. She has also attended masterclasses with Cheryl Studer, Rachel Willis-Sørensen, Bo Skovhus, and Angela Meade.

Viktoria began her musical education at the Republican Musical College in Minsk at the age of 4. Following her graduation from Moscow Conservatory, Viktoria moved to Salzburg to obtain her master's degree in chamber music and song interpretation at Mozarteum University. This season Viktoria is doing an academy for piano/Korrepetition in Neubrandenburg/Neustrelitz Theater and orchestra.
Viktoria is a laureate of numerous international competitions, including the Riga Piano competition, the Maria Yudina competition, and others. During her studies, she has also taken master classes in Italy (San Daniele International Piano Meeting), Belgium (Musica Mundi Festival), and Ukraine (Dora Schwarzberg Summer Academy), working with some of the most renowned musicians.
As a soloist and chamber musician, Viktoria is performing extensively throughout Europe and beyond. In addition to her concert career, she has also served as a pianist accompanist at the Moscow Conservatory and as a vocal coach at opera studio at International Slavic University. Over the past few years, Viktoria has been invited as a guest pianist to perform at a variety of prestigious competitions, master classes and concert series around the world such as XIII. Moscow Conservatory International Competition for Wind and Percussion Instruments, Girolamo Fantini Competition, guest pianist at Dzialak&Söhne, John Cage competition and many others.
