Tenor Markus Ennsthaller is an international guest concert soloist,  opera singer and performer of recitals. He received his artistic  training at the Mozarteum University Salzburg, where he completed his  master's degree in song and oratorio in 2019. He develops interpretive  finesse and vocal mastery with his professors Pauliina Tukiainen, Helmut  Deutsch, Andreas Macco, Michele Crider and Christoph Strehl.

Important performances include Mendelssohn's  "Lobgesang" and "Die erste Walpurgisnacht" at the Palais de Beaux Arts  in Brussels, a gala evening at the Brucknerhaus in Linz and Mozart's  "Coronation Mass" at the Gasteig concert hall in Munich. In 2023, Markus  Ennsthaller will also make his debut as an evangelist in Bach's St.  Matthew Passion.

Virgile Van Essche

Pianist

Virgile  Van Essche is a Belgian pianist born in 1992. He studied at the  Saint-Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory, the Royal Academy  of Music of London. Among his teachers, one can find world class  accompanists as Malcolm Martineau and James Baillieu.

Virgile  is now based in Brussels, where he completed a degree in both piano  accompaniment and pianoforte. The playing in historical keyboards such  as pianoforte and romantic piano has had a major influence on him during  the past few years.

He has a huge interest in  languages and their culture, as there are intimately linked to his  favorite repertoire. Virgile is a native French speaker, he is also  fluent in Russian, English and is proficient in Dutch, German, Italian  and Spanish.
