Sohee Seo is a Korean soprano and received her bachelor's degree from Seoul National University. She then studied master opera singing and song composition with Cheryl Studer and Gerold Huber at the University of Music in Würzburg, and is currently studying her concert exam degree in song composition with Alexander Fleischer and Christina Landshamer in Trossingen. In addition, she has been extensively inspired and guided by renowned singers such as Bernarda Fink, Christiane Iven and Daniela Sindram.
She began her career as a prizewinner in many competitions, including 1st prize at The France Music Competition, International Mozart Competition Vienna, Neue Lied Competition and others.
She is a scholarship holder of the Deutschlandstipendium and the R. Wagner Association of the Bayreuth Festival 2022.
Eunhyeon Baek
Pianist
Eunhyeon Baek, the South Korean pianist, started playing the piano at the age of six. She received a bachelor's degree in piano solo from Kyung Hee University in Seoul, and after graduating she worked as an accompanist in South Korea. She then completed her master's degree in "Vocal Accompaniment Song and Oratorio" at the Music and Art Private University of the City of Vienna in the class of Prof. Ralf Heiber and Prof. Birgid Steinberger. In addition to her training, she took part in the German Song Academy in Trossingen and the Udo Reinemann international master course in Brussels and benefited from master classes with Gerold Huber, Susan Manoff and Norman Shetler.As a song duo, Eunhyeon Baek won first prize at the international competition "Elsa Respighi" in Verona and third prize and the best pianist prize at the international competition "Triomphe de l'Art" in Brussels. Since 2023, she has been deepening her studies in the postgraduate course (vocal accompaniment) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna under the guidance of Prof. Justus Zeyen and in the concert exam (song composition) at the HfM Trossingen under Prof. Alexander Fleischer.
